I doubt it--it's not as if they grow all that food for *local* consumption; it's an export industry

...since there are three occupants including myself, and since population density figures don't take floor area into account, only land area, the density of my apartment is 3 people per 840 square feet, or about 99,600 people per square mile

of course, if you include the front and back yard, it drops to about 1/4 of that figure--and if you look at the density of the apartment complex as a whole, it drops much lower because of parking lots, open space, and roads
