Yes, at about 18,500 per sq mi vs Boston's 13k or Chicago's 12k But Somerville MA has about 18,500/sqmi as well, and places like Hoboken NJ are much higher (39k/sqmi, higher than Brooklyn's 35k). Manhattan is the densest in USA at nearly 70k/sqmi Tokyo's 23 wards avg 39k/sqmi

The suburb of Tokyo I used to live in (Machida) has a current density around 15,800/sqmi, although it was a bit lower when I lived there in the early 90s
