Ueno-Tokyo Line. In the past, the Tokaido and Tohoku Lines were connected between Ueno and Tokyo. Those connecting tracks were demolished and the ROW used by the Tohoku Shinkansen. Tokyu Shibuya relocation. Tokyu trains used to terminate at elevated facility in Shibuya. With a new subway open in 2008, they were to be rerouted underground to allow interoperation.
