They're using all available (legal, of course) channels right now to hamper or prevent expanded rail service between Boston and Springfield, too. Their anti-competitive attitude is bad for business, bad for residents, and bad for Massachusetts.

Shutting them down wouldn't help anyone, by the way--no, I think the better solution here is just to loosen up regulations on private transit providers. The easier it is to start, the more providers trying new ideas, etc, the better off riders--and the state--will be.

...and in case you're wondering what I think Peter Pan should do, it's pretty simple: consider getting into the train business! Why restrict yourselves to buses?
