Pioneer Valley folks: I suspect that 100 units is barely a dent in what NoHo needs. Thoughts? @Ted4P @neipate96 @380kmh (also, there's enough demand that the city shouldn't need to work too hard to create market rate building?)https://twitter.com/GregRichane/status/958180510316089345 …

I could point to places where housing could plausibly fit and be built, but I don't think the land use regs would allow what I have in mind (and I think most people in town would balk at such proposals). Future dev will likely be rehabs and rebuilds
-
This is my point! The regs need to change in at least part of town.

Tbh I'm a little less judgmental about parking there than elsewhere...they keep it tucked away from Main St and NoHo really is a regional center for a rural area with no transit.
-
There's room to swap a new garage or two for developing several surface lots, however.
-
Makes sense. NOHO at least has a prayer of real transit though, with the Conn River Line

might be that development on Pleasant st here: https://goo.gl/maps/djS1e45m1Kw … replaces a low-rise motel. It's a lot at once but nowhere near enough
