Also, looking at wages for a SINGLE worker and comparing to rents for TWO BEDROOM HOMES is just wildly dishonest--if you're struggling like that you'll go for a studio or one bedroom, or split a house with multiple other earning roommates! Come on fellas...

what if the problem here is that the housing market is so locked down that landlords can extort whatever they want, and we decide to start rising to their outrageous demands every time they go up instead of just building more houses
