Increasingly disproportional distance btwn consumers & their goods from POV of manufacturing has divorced folks from working ethics/industriousness that in & of itself remains prerequisite the possibility of things to begin w’; prior them offering any profitability/surplus value?
I think this starts with making ppl at home. Division of labor suffrage has led to makes kids often less then conducive with produce/save ethic. Which compounds intergenerationaly into folks thinking duties can be relegated to an occupation one chooses vs. tangible contributions.
The culture does seem to be changing in this direction: from lots of crap to fewer but nicer things, produced locally.
