actually yeah you kind of do need to know that there is a better and practical alternative to an autocentric system if you want to get rid of the problems of an autocentric system

if there were no country in the world with a better transportation system than the USA, then ipso facto I would have to acknowledge that the USA's system is the best But as it happens, plenty of countries do better than we do, and among them, Japan does best (then Switzerland)
