personally im whining about capitalists bc american capitalists are the ones who fought to break down basically every barrier required to save both competition + labor. just because they're monopolists doesn't mean they somehow aren't capitalists

yes it's Toshiba's fault that her one daughter died young and her other daughter never visits, also this case is typical of the elderly in Japan and definitely not an anecdote being portrayed as normal to a gullible US audience

materialism is the problem. a spiritual society strengthened by the church with strong social mechanisms to preserve the dignity of workers and discourage exploitation of others is the only lubricant which can keep that machine from grinding itself into twisted metal shavings
