Boston transit priorities in no particular order: - Stations, vehicles, etc must be CLEAN and in good repair - Lighter trains on Red, Orange, Blue lines - Infrastructure in good repair - Dedicated bus lanes + transit-favoring traffic lights - Commuter rail to subway standards
I'm assuming, then, that they don't employ local-rapid-express service variations? That's a basic requirement for long-distance rapid transit

The Tube? They do on the Metropolitan (not on the Central) but it's still slow. And TfL are increasingly indifferent to the bits outside Greater London, perhaps understandably.
