What are the noise levels like in those buildings? The highways have noise barriers but that only stops the noise going out horizontally.
wasn't a problem in my experience; buildings under train tracks tho....
soem NYC expressways look quite similar to the left view; part of one [BQE] reuses structures of an elevated train line
