might be using a driver that doesn't apply eq or post-processing, look in device mgr and see if it's using the generic driver
can you elaborate a bit here? I've got device mgr open but not sure what to do from here
look under where it shows your audio hardware and see if the audio driver is the generic MS one or if it's a specific vendorpic.twitter.com/Xh2Ed0qi97
on mine if i just install windows by itself that 'Realtek HD Audio' entry is just says 'High Definition Audio' & is a generic driver
two show up--one says "conextant HD audio" the other "Intel(R) display audio" but my speakers have a logitech logo, wat mean
it's prob. the first one, display audio sounds like audio via HDMI (that's what that nVidia entry in my screenshot is)
