Yeah, the revamp was mainly so that buses could stop at a majestic historic building; little to do with Amtrak

Big mistake on bus co’s part not helping Amtrak out in this instance. It remains a stinking sore attached to their new digs.

For sure--ironically, addressing the "stinking sore" of PVTA sharing their old terminal was a big motivator for relocating...

...but apparently everyone involved didn't learn the lesson from that: you can't just sweep part of your clientele into the corner!

Especially since Amtrak riders are—given the cost of Amtrak—a richer demographic. Don’t alienate them!
