I think their point is that perseverance got the state to spend half a billion dollars, but that could have gotten the train to Waterbury…
Frequent service of any mode to New Britain>>>>infrequent commuter rail service to Waterbury, which was the alternative proposal.
Just dismayed that they couldn't figure out how to run frequent service on existing tracks w/o paving them over and running buses
I just wish they could figure out how to run frequent service on the regular NHHS line, instead of 12-17 round trips per day!

I'm half convinced we need a moratorium on any new rail lines until we can figure out frequent service w MUs on existing ones
rail projects tend to ignore frequency and bus projects tend to avoid taking road space from cars, maintaining status quo
