We stopped for lunch in Hiwasa--the castle is fake, a rich dude built it in the 80s (or so I'm told) Lunch was "Awa O-Tori" cutlets etcpic.twitter.com/JLfXd6sgzd
To explain: Awa Odori is a famous festival in Tokushima (formerly Awa Province), "tori" = chicken, 大鳥 = "great chicken" (and it was TASTY)
