full disclosure: I appreciated the Pickle Rick thing as an unsubtle nod to the fact that the show is about *magic* not science
-
-
(so, not at all?)
-
(yes--emphasis is on imagination and curiosity; in C&H this stayed w/in that realm, in R&M it's made real as "science" ie magic)
-
I am extremely happy that C&H ended when it did.
-
To explain: I think that a Calvin unsullied by Online in all its forms, is good. Calvin on message boards and forums is antithetical to C&H
-
Inherently, C&H is about a boy, his tiger and his imagination. It's inherently bucolic. He plays calvinball. He teases Suzie.
