No more than Mark, Luke, and Matthew felt no need to recognize Jesus's raising of Lazarus, or washing the disciples' feet, etc...
The Bible discusses the Church as both the Bride of Christ and as the Body of Christ; my point is that the two are not contradictory
-
-
Where does it discuss the bride of Christ as the church?
-
Ephesians iirc
-
So, what are the statuses of Israel and Protestants?
-
getting a little over my head here but I'll try: - the Church is Israel, modern Jews are not - Protestants have cut themselves off from Him
-
Matthew 18:20. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
-
Matthew 7:21, not all who claim His name are really in it, are they?
-
That's what I am trying to figure out: legitimacy.
