Why do you live in wilderness? Because it's your hometown/school/workplace? Is it very charming?

I live in a more settled area, and I live here to be close to friends, nightlife, and (well, not that close) my job

would u recommend massachusetts as a place to live, esp in a more rural/small town type setting?
-
If you can handle dramatic seasonal differences in temperature, then I think you can find a part of MA that you'd enjoy living in
-
I can recommend busy cities, stately suburbs, sunny farm towns, remote hill towns, you name it!
-
if you wouldnt mind naming some of the sunny farm and remote hill towns, i wanna do some looking!
-
for the former--try Sunderland, Hatfield, Northfield, Hadley (well...most of Hadley) for the latter--try Warwick, Blandford, Middlefield...
-
...ask about more anytime, this is far from a comprehensive list

great, thanks!!

you must live in the western part where it no longer feels like you're in MA anymore.
-
I do, but it feels very much like MA...
-
Maybe because you live there? I feel like it's a different state when I go from central MA to the Berkshires. I much prefer western MA.
-
Idk I just don't expect MA to feel homogenous throughout. It's not a different state out here, it's a different part of the state
