I'm pretty sure something will be done to not bring downtowns to a standstill when people realize they can jaywalk wherever, all the time

I'm sure it would be trivial to put cameras in the avs. Just the threat of a ticket, even if not truly practically enforceable would deter

Better solution: Super-blocks. Cars only allowed every 3-4 blocks. Interior streets are for people.

Nah allow cars on most streets and let pedestrian pressure bring the system to equilibrium
