Judging by Keisei, a double-track electrified commuter railroad should be able to fit within a 40' wide ROW and have a little room to spare
So...if you kill 1 lane per direction on the Mass Pike in Newton/Brighton, and use the space to expand the rail line...it could fit 4 tracks
