...you can also see Paris's rail network is about as dense as Tokyo's, tho less of their regional rail is held to subway standards afaik
London Overground (orange) are mostly rebranded suburban lines but they became so much more useful when they were included on the map
If you make regular trains feel as convenient as the underground, more people use them.
