someone explain the points system in catholicism is all u gotta do is be baptized and your straight? whats the point of being virtuous?

Baptism is just the first sacrament--when you're about 7, you make your first Confession and receive first Eucharist
-
You are obligated after that to receive the Eucharist *at least* every Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation, and to make Confession as needed
-
Confession is necessary for literally *every one* of your sins, and you are not supposed to receive Eucharist if you have unconfessed sins
-
u sin dozens of times a week how is that possible
-
You can confess multiple sins in a single confession, just don't leave any out or wait too long to do so (lest you get hit by a car, etc)

Baptism is not affected by excommunication: it's permanent status, whereas excomm is meant to be a temporary exile from religious community

does each baptism absolve you of everything you did ?
-
Absolution occurs after solemn repentance and the right sacraments. No sin is too great...
-
If it's been a long time since last confession, I think they ask you for gist of what you've been up to
