I agree. The DART can be improved. But, one can imagine the effect on Galway, Cork, and Belfast to be better connected to Dublin.

Definitely--I like what he proposes about linking the entire island up, and those cities will notice a difference for sure...

Author is incorrect to say Ireland is uniquely centralized--it is the *rule* in modern countries that urban populations dwarf rural

...and, within urban populations, that one city by far dominates the others. Consider France, or Denmark, or South Korea--etc etc
