Once you get off the Interstates and major cities there are no buses in most of US.
there are waaaaaay more towns far from LD trains than far from interstates tho

Look at that Greyhound map I linked. The buses skip most towns, absent from huge sections of country.

Demand is there for service. Question is economics, not need. Rather spend $15B/yr on rail than on most other spending

I reject neoliberal dogma that only provides mobility for profit. Not how we treat roads, mail, utility service, etc

Its the proper role of govt to facilitate travel, trade, and communications.
