sure, don't disagree, but having dense apartment towers close to downtown is better for commutes than lots of SFD

theoretically yeah I just never see any examples of this IRL, despite plenty of cities w dense towers downtown

if you really want people to have short commutes, they gotta be small business owners who live in same bldg as their store

so long as workplace and home are disconnected, you'll have huge coordination problems
