Super-dense crush load? I hear it's very intense in Japanese suburban networks. The E231 and E235 are nice trains to have, though.

pushers were common up until the 1990s, but are rare these days I've been on more crowded trains in Boston

the worst case scenario for that level of crowd is either smelly neighbor or standing off balance
