ya...but most of our BRT isn't "Cadillac," it's just a slightly fancier bus on painted bus lanes with nicer shelters
not hating man that's what makes it work so well--they didn't have to carve out a ROW from existing streets

they almost literally ran buses on a railway; if you insist on using buses then that's a smart way to do it

way cheaper to use existing grades than figure out new greenfield routes! can be adapted for bus or rail, too
