reverse-engineering tomorrow's itinerary by starting with the time I need to be at Narita to make my flight excellent news is that the "access narita" trains which use the Hokuso route appear to all run from Oshiage, near Asakusa, which works nicely w my plans
it looks like Singapore uses terminal 1, as expected... my flight is at 18:50, ergo: - be at the gate at 18:20 - be at security at 18:00 - be at airport at 17:50 - "Access Narita" from 印旛日本医大駅 at 17:08 gets me to the airport at 17:37

- "Access Narita" from 押上駅 at 15:41 gets me to 印旛日本医大駅 at 16:09, plenty of time to take pics - to be at Oshiage by 15:41 I will want to be at Asakusa by around noon to take pics and get souvenirs - I can be at Asakusa by noon via Tsukuba Express from Akihabara at 11:54

In other words, I have all morning to get train souvenirs at Akihabara (provided the shops are open in the AM in the first place...hmm...), which gives me plenty of time to see Minowabashi before going there OK--plans set!!

Cutting it rather fine? When I was last leaving NRT, there was a fairly long queue to get my passport stamped on exit.
