OMG what class sleeper did you do? How was it? Communal shower, right?
-
"Nobinobi" class, so just sleeping on a rug in a semi-detached cubby Individual shower--you have to buy a card to use it (320 yen, about $3)
-
Was it noisy? Comfy? Were you able to sleep? (last sleeper I took was the Kiev-Vienna overnight from Lviv to Budapest!)

I didn't know Japan was big enough to have overnight trains.
