Has there been any uptick in riders with the Hartford Line?

      Nothing significant to my knowledge

Part of it is likely that the Hartford Line comes less frequently than all but maybe one or two of the bus routes here; even if lots of its passengers were connecting to a bus, they would be dwarfed in number by preexisting daily traffic

Yep, not too surprising. Do you have bus connections south to CT already too?

barely--one of our routes (G5) makes a connection to CT Transit just across the border in Enfield, but only 4 times a day. most bus traffic between here and CT is by intercity coach, not local bus

The G5 maybe should hop on 91 from 49 to 48 and service the mall commuter lot. Or have an Express variation like the P21 has. Years ago PVTA had an R16 Long/Enfield, had to ride to visit mom, schedule wasnt frequent but every trip at rush hour met @CTTRANSIT Express frm Hrtfd

I think something like that would be useful--but at the moment the budget is getting smaller every year; either some other route would need to get cut or we'd need a different budget situation to add service like that

Yeah not much. Could really use more than the 4 or 5 or whatever trains a day

Thanks too - I worked on Hartford Line a little, and it’s interesting to see how things are shaping up
