Well, if the trains start to fill up, you can add more. For that distance you probably want a bit nicer interior fitment though, more intercity and less transity.

You can get very nice interior fittings even on trains carrying thousands per hour, provided the frequency and # of cars per train are there. It's true that you can add more, but my point is that the trains are unlikely to fill up if the headways are inconvenient.
