Good news is Ming has 0 manpower rn, I'm still at max (194,000)
Update: good lord this is fucking difficult Already had like...6 failed attempts resulting in a reset. Figured out quickly that I've spent too much time on the open ocean and don't have any modern galleys (and only a handful of outdated ones).
In my penultimate attempt Ayutthaya peaced put shortly after I joined, turning Ming's full attention to me. Also even if I have parity in total land forces, it's still borderline impossible to get enough in one place to win consistently. I sent a 95 stack...and hit a 175 stack
On the other hand, our generals and miltech are evenly matched now, so I don't need huge numerical advantages to win land battles. Also corrected my orders to the colonies so they are now FULLY MOBILIZED but still takes a while for them to show up
Anyway. Now I am le tired and must take le nap.
