I blame the anti-tax bitching and whining that was embedded in the Declaration of Independence "How dare you tell me to shower before getting on the bus...I'm gonna stand up for my rights, just like the Founders..."

Nothing--NOTHING--pisses people off as much as being asked to stop what they're doing for the sake of all the people around them who have to suffer through it

Bathing every day is bad for your skin. I think Americans have forgotten what people smell like and feel entitled to smelling nothing.

I bathe every day and smell wonderful but I don't feel entitled to not smelling people as long as they're not walking around with shit asses. Also think I can't feel entitled to it until my local government provides free access to safe, clean restrooms and showers.
