Next planned colonies are for the Galapagos Islands and South Africa, both are already within range Buuut maybe I should get two more in Australia so they become a colonial nation...and I need more in California too, and to start on Mexico...
In other news, I keep finding Portuguese spies, and occasionally ships. Haven't "discovered" them yet but I expect I'll bump into some of their colonies in South Africa...
So long as I can dominate the Cape node, I don't really need to press further into the Atlantic...better to consolidate my control in the Pacific and Asia. But ideally I want to get a firm grip on Cape Horn, the Falklands, and South Georgia to lock Europe into the Atlantic

Turned out both Portugal AND England had colonies in South Africa--England grabbed several islands in the Indian Ocean too...I have immediately prioritized more colonies in the area; in Mozambique and Comoros
