nice for them. doesn't change a thing that if the majority of your wealth comes from investments, not from labour, your relation to the working class is rather tenuous

indeed, high paying jobs like these are famous for being a way to get out of the working class -- if not you yourself by becoming a proprietor, then certainly your children. it is a wonderful advantage to own property.

Who is talking about investments? Are you just making stuff up now because you're bored on a Sunday and feel like arguing with strangers?

property is an investment. in any time, but particularly when the price is rising... and rising... and rising.

If you moved into my neighborhood 30 years ago, you would never in a million years have predicted what happened to it in the last five. Property was a home: a place to raise your children and live out your retirement.

i am really not sure what much of what you have been saying has to do with anything tbqh. working class people get wealth and income from labour, not investments. property class gets it from property. persons hang between one or another of the two extremes.

My position has only ever been this: the cosplay communists consistently talk out of both sides of their mouths. With one side they say "working class and single-income families used to be able to own a home" and then say "there's no way working class people can own $1M homes!"
