you can have a successful transit system, or you can use your transit system as a de facto homeless shelter; you absolutely can't do both the problem with leaving transit advocacy to the left is they inevitably prefer option B
if people don't want a stop, why keep it open? they're not exactly free to maintain and until the operators start taking passenger comfort seriously, who can blame anyone for wanting a stop closed?
