I think it's particularly frustrating to me bc--having been an avid fan since I was about 5--I feel like this is Lego finally doing what it was meant to do: high-detail, high-fidelity, slice-of-life modeling. Well...that and making spaceships.

When you spend time building an intricate set you can’t help but form an emotional connection and it’s hard to let go of. I think a lot of lego enthusiasts are collectors for that reason.
