all the more grating is that they only count in-window clicks as clicks; if I open in new tab Facebook apparently has no idea what happened guess how I click on ads that I'm actually interested in?

oh lord it gets even worse: FB also ignores any time you click to the advertiser's page--it literally ONLY counts the clicks that you make on product pictures

what is particularly galling about this is that there's obviously some sort of mechanism which decides what sort of ads I might be interested: all I need is to be able to see what it's been suggesting for the past 8 hours
