distance between them isn't enough to make them distinct--a city is an *economic* entity, not a geographic or political one!

by that reasoning you could pick some poor corner of, say, Queens and say it's not the same city as NYC. Very rich and important cities can have large areas of poverty!

rode the subway + the light rail, went to a party in the Greek neighborhood, visited Lexington Market etc etc (not all in the same visit tho)

it was less alarming than the subway tbh also: visited the old Mt Royal Station, visited Camden Yards, walked from Inner Harbor to Fort McHenry...I forget where I went drinking but I think near Fell's Point, and I think I spent a night near Patterson Park
