This is still a temporary measure--if you sit through the whole video (or skip around a bit) you'll find that many of the original stations are still present, with modified bus platforms right next to them. It might become permanent, or it might get rebuilt, time will tell.

Notice also the ways that this mimics a single-track railway: passing loops outside the tunnels and at key points on the line, etc etc
