If you're gonna have an 8 foot pole, why not, idk, include some additional info? Like, I think there's some room for a rudimentary map and headway frequencies.
I've proposed having the latter, at least, for each bus stop (or for selected bus stops, even) but been denied because the bus schedules are in constant flux, and PVTA doesn't have the manpower to keep all the signs up to date
That's one advantage of having signs along the lines of, "Between 7 am and 9 am, buses will come approximatetly every 12 minutes. Between 9 am and 4 pm, buses will come approximatetly every 20 minutes..." Not like the buses arrive too precisouly anyway, and maintains flexibility.
No buses in our network come every 12 minutes...only three routes come every 15, a few more every 20, and most of the rest are hourly (or worse)
