Friday the 13th and the unstable are out in full effect...one fellow on the bus brought his dog (cute!) and wouldn't stop talking about what I assume was a wrongful eviction--the longer he talked, the more demented the story got...

He was sobbing and talking about "they shot at me" and "they laughed at me," and after some other passengers offered him money for his fare, he explained he'd been ambushed for his money the previous night, and that the police hadn't taken him seriously when he talked to them

It sounded like an awful situation, to be sure, but he seemed much more upset by the police supposedly laughing at him than the fact that he was out $300 and had been shot at. He (and our friend w the dog) were both in Springfield to seek justice.

I don't expect it will go very well for them, unfortunately--as soon as we got off the bus in Springfield, they proceeded to run after a departing bus (in the middle of the road ofc), then abandon that to go inside and start yelling at security guards

At this point I was heading to Dunks, and I don't know what happened to them after that. But the driver today deserved a medal for preventing any escalation
