drive-by is extreme example which I bring up bc household word, common knowledge--far far more common is driving into rich neighborhood for some burglary etc; anti-train partisans don't like to think about this!

briefly--there is no real application of this principle in the US, but trains (which can only be accessed at specific locations) have far greater potential for security than roads do
