I will struggle to overturn this policy for as long as I draw breath! Trying to live further from people to reduce exposure to their irritating habits only makes us more sensitive to irritation (lack of exposure) & emboldens us to persist in bad habits (lack of consequence)

Antisocial behavior will not be overcome by giving it more room and more means to fester! As Americans have spread further apart, the costs have only grown, while the returns have inexorably diminished--how much of our national wealth have we already squandered in this way?

Sooner or later we will have to learn to get along...to bear with each other as neighbors...to cultivate HIGH TRUST instead of suspicion and paranoia...it would be easier while we remain wealthy, but I worry we'll burn through every last dollar trying to delay this inevitability
