I'm 100% a photo realistic visual thinker. My thoughts are all pictures. You?

I have basically no mind's eye. I don't know if it's aphantasia or not, but I can't conceive of visualising something, just saying it
I did like Temple Grandin's book "Thinking in Pictures" !

That's fascinating to me. Even when I'm typing words I visualize the word I want to type. It's 100% automatic. I don't try to do it, it just is. I honestly thought this is how everyone's brain worked until I mentioned it to prior boss who said pretty much what you just did.

I'm a pattern thinker, but great at reading. Big picture patterns, though. Phenomenal auditory memory. It's a fascinating area. My brother had an eidetic memory which drove him nuts-he didn't want all that info!

This amazes me. Auditory memory is my WEAKEST by far unless I can visualize the speaker on replay.
