When I was homeless, did I respect your civil liberties? No. I just didn't care. Why? Because I had nothing. Except my drugs. And that was enough for me and so many I knew on the street struggling with #addiction. We need to create hope and a way out of #homelessness.https://twitter.com/470Street/status/1282272994870431744 …

If there was somewhere in our city where people were allowed and expected to gather than maybe, you might convince me they're being rude for gathering in a inconvenient spot. But in our current system, seems like expected behavior. Respect existence, or expect resistance.

@MattHaneySF, But also how come the homeless people can play amplified music and gather outside at night, but us constituents are harassed when we try to do the same?2 replies 0 retweets 5 likes -

Nobody should be playing loud music outside at night regardless of their housing status. It is not legal. I don’t have any authority to enforce laws, that’s the executive branch. If there’s a situation you want me to follow up on, I will.

With the situation on Stevenson, it’s obviously and clearly unacceptable. The city departments are aware of it, and I do not know why they haven’t done anything to address it yet, they should. I am meeting w Stevenson neighbors tomorrow.
