    A2: Math and geometry have contributed greatly to the visual arts, specifically. Take for example Leonardo DaVinci’s paintings. He utilized such techniques as perspective and realism (math & cognitive psychology).

    Much like in developing a strong research method for a study, in jewelry design one must first sketch out the goal of the end product. In science we do this by using an existing theory. In design we begin with a concept...”will this be a necklace? What medium will be used?”
