And here's another sample of drivers ignoring the 30mph zone, just like the DfT monitors observed 52% of motorists breaking!

Oh look... more evidence of drivers ignoring speed limits. It appears the evidence from the DfT that 52% of drivers ignored the 30mph speed limit (which this road appears to be) fits what these police officers observed!

Cabbie reckons he’ll be fined for driving at 20mph (it’s a 20mph limit). Why are they so thick?

Attention Twitter — this is the political problem with transportation decisions in cities in a nutshell. Experts who actually know what they’re talking about call for REDUCING car lanes (see ), and pro-car elected mayor dismisses that good advice.

ABCDs are quite happy to project their own laziness as disability, remember. This is why they also object to child spaces being next to the front door of supermarkets - balls to safety, their laziness is more important.

They can however make it very difficult for pupils and staff to cycle to school. Inadequate or insufficient bike parking/secure storage, no cycle infrastructure near the school meaning that cyclists are forced to mix with heavy traffic or walk on the pavement with their bikes.

The fact that so few question this or stand up to it is almost as sad as the short sightedness of these schools.

I can safely say that in 22 years of being a political journalist, I've never experienced a day like today. No.10 sources now insisting that political editors like myself "are not banned, they are just not invited".

The issue here isn't really the semantics of current law though, it is how violence using cars is relatively socially acceptable especially towards cyclists. Look at replies blaming cyclist for not being on path. Road rage against other drivers is taken far more seriously

One year driving ban for attempted murder? It’s worth a punt innit if you’re in the mood to kill someone.

…with a man pottering in the garden. I asked him if that was his boy and he said it was. I told him how polite he was and that he seemed a really lovely lad. The man smiled and said he thought I was going to tell him something bad. Just wanted to give the young guy credit. 😊
