Hi! Have you heard of original chromecast devices having issues with audio de syncing with the YouTube app? Casting works fine on every other app and YouTube casts fine to my Sony tv. (Casting from iPhone 8)

Thanks for the details. Let's try to sort it out. What type of Chromecast do you have — a 1st Gen (thumb drive) or 2nd/3rd Gen (puck)? How far is your Chromecast from your Wi-Fi router? Have you tried rebooting your Chromecast and Wi-Fi router to refresh the connection?

1st gen chromecast. I switched chromecasts to another one (I have 3) and it does the same thing. I’ve checked for updates, rebooted, reformatted. Same issue in different locations.

Gotcha. Do you get the same result when casting from a different device (i.e, Android, computer)? Also, you might want to try reinstalling your YouTube app and see if that helps.

I pretty much only cast from my phone. I’ll try reinstalling the YouTube app and see if it helps at all.
