Go to bed Jack; you’re drunk.

sorry, stone cold sober and amused at how threatened & defensive some are when the quality of a G5 team is pointed out.
-
Fine, they’re good. But they’re not THAT good. And if they want to claim their own Natty then do it while competing in a power 5 conference.
-
I suspect they would jump at an opportunity to do that. Do you know a P5 conference that would invite them in? Probably not.
-
Not at the moment. It’s all about the $ and I think the P5 are content. Maybe we’ll see something in 2023 when tv contracts expire, but by then UCF probably won’t be relevant.
-
Wouldn't be surprised to see changes sooner. If it is '23 & UCF isn't relative, some G5 program will be. Hope they get a chance
-
Everyone deserves that, at least, Jack. I agree. Also, from a proud UAB alum, thank you for your help to bring our program back. Crazy what happens when programs are given chances.

It should be noted. UCF lost while playing what was essentially LSU’s 2nd string D. They had 9 starters out. Now taking a stand either way on UCF. But your comparison doesn’t hold up.
-
And UCF was playing without their QB, wwho would have been the best QB on either team.
-
And they lost. I got nothing against UCF. Night friend.
-
Put up a better fight against them than UGA did.
-
So, by your logic, UCF would beat Bama.

-
well, I'm not sure about that. But they are 1-0 all time against Alabama.

But UCF has to play these teams week in week out to be considered.. so when they a play a depleted LSU squad, the only team they face of that caliber, and lose, it doesn’t help them at all
-
UCF was playing without their All-Conference QB as well. Depleted defense or injured QB are just excuses.
-
And winning one game against Auburn to claim a championship is crazy. They haven’t played nowhere near the schedule of LSU. Could see them losing at least 5-6 games if they did.
-
If you're going to ask them to play an SEC schedule, give them SEC resources and SEC revenue and see what happens.
-
That’s a separate argument. If you give UAB that, I fully believe we will be better
-
Well, don't ask UCF to do what LSU does without the resources LSU has to do it.
-
You can literally make that argument for every team that doesn’t have that amount of support LSU does
-
Sure you could. And you'd be right.
